Grandpa Lee Meets Peyton Lee

We had such a great Saturday this last weekend!  Peyton Lee finally got to mee her Grandpa Lee for the very first time, and let me say it was a meeting that was well over due.  She immediately took to liking Grandpa (as I knew she would...after all she is my daughter...even though she looks just like her father, haha) and smiled from ear to ear all day when he talked with her.  She even got to meet a new friend, DeeDee, my Grandpa's special friend.  She shared some of DeeDee's bran muffing at lunch and shot her little smiles back at her as she gummed the tasty muffin down.  She received a beautiful silver cup with her name engraved in it.  THEN...Grandpa and DeeDee went to Build-a-Bear and made Peyters a fuzzy pink teddy bear.  I'm so thrilled to report that she hasn't let it out of her sight since!  She cuddles it and gives it kisses (mouth gaping open as little infants tend to do when giving their kisses) and snuggles it up to her face as she falls asleep at night.  It's the most adorable thing I have seen her do in awhile!  We are forcing her to keep it at home and not take it to day care, so I imagine when she arrives home today she will be all too excited to see her bear.  Now we get to wait in anticipation to see what she will name her bear (once she reaches full sentence age of course).  Thank you Grandpa Lee and DeeDee for such thoughtful gifts.  Peyton couldn't love them more.
