A New Adventure!

I’m writing this post with a couple of motivators in mind: #1. Advertise for my little sister in hopes of helping her raise some extra money for her soon to arrive son, and #2. As a testament to my love for my family and my faith in the amazing mother that my sister will be.

As many know, my sister is expecting her first child, a sweet baby boy, any day now. She is officially due on Wednesday, December 22nd and could not be more excited. I am so proud of the bravery and self-confidence that Laci has demonstrated throughout her pregnancy. She has taken responsibility as a parent from day one, and she recognizes the value of understanding what God’s plan for her is, whether she would have chosen that path for herself or not.

I remember the day that she told me about my little nephew (of course we didn’t know at the time he was a nephew, but moving on…) and how scared she was. It was such a reassurance that all of our family was in the same area after nearly 10+ years in order to offer first-hand support of the journey she was about to embark upon. While many wouldn’t plan their life and entering the world of parenthood in this particular manner, many also would make alternative decisions on how to move forward. Laci chose to become a mommy with pride (and yes, a lot of fear) and that is all that I as a sister and fellow mommy could ever hope for. Whether we are parents are not, I believe we all have a good sense of how expensive these little ankle biters are. This is a new and exciting business venture for Laci and hopefully a little money generator to go towards that diaper and formula fund. ;)
