We had a lot of "firsts" this weekend in the Buhl/Strickland household. Peyton officially is a walking machine! She walked between Grandpa and Grandma without assistance for the first time on Saturday evening and has been daring to walk between people and objects ever since. Her balance is getting better each day and she even completed her first successful turn last night. Jake and I are preparing ourselves for the chaos that is soon to come.
We also celebrated Kalder Clark's first birthday on Sunday. Kalder's mom and dad threw a great Sponge Bob and luau themed swimming party, which was a hit with all of the kids and parents alike. Peyton was the first little tyke to voluntarily climb into the kiddie pool and sit in the middle splashing away. I guess she is a water baby at heart. It was a very exciting weekend had by all!!
